The Backyard

Constructing a VIP oasis that blends live music, local flavor, and summer vibes.

Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater has set the stage for unforgettable live music in the Salt Lake City region. With the introduction of The Backyard, we’ve transformed what it means to gather and celebrate at this renowned venue. Completed in June 2025, this dynamic new space reflects our commitment to creating innovative settings that bring people together and enrich the local area.

The Backyard channels the excitement of a summer gathering, offering guests a spirited retreat just steps from the stage. Colorful seating, ambient lighting, private cabanas, and a dedicated bar create a welcoming atmosphere, while local DJs and musicians provide live entertainment. Guests can enjoy lawn games, catch the concert on a live stream, and savor a curated selection of premium food and drinks from the Backyard BBQ. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a memorable visit for all, whether guests are seeking relaxation or a lively social scene.

Designing and constructing The Backyard brought unique challenges. Our team collaborated closely with Utah-based design and trade partners, overcoming tight procurement schedules and unpredictable weather with agility and inventive problem-solving. Through meticulous planning and strong teamwork, we delivered the project on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

“We’re proud to help bring a new era of comfort and connection to fans at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater,” said Dillon Reller, Sr. Project Manager. “The Backyard was designed with the guest experience in mind, blending luxury, accessibility, and the vibrant spirit of live music. Our crew is excited to see fans enjoy this new VIP space and create unforgettable memories all season long.”
