He enjoys working with Mortenson team members in all different roles, from the forefront of project pursuit all the way to project delivery. Ian contributes largely to site project management, facilitating design phase progress discussions, overall staffing, and personnel development discussions. He loves figuring out how to communicate best with new teams and individuals and establish important common goals to progress within each project.

Ian eagerly looks forward to new things within the construction industry, such as the growing use of technology and the development of projects related to the increased demand for technology, as well as the increase in diversity within the workforce and construction leadership. Ian acknowledges that new ideas and perspectives help shift our industry and will continue to expand the field as these diverse perspectives drive change and innovation.

Ian received his Bachelor's in Construction Management from Central Washington University and is a DBIA Associate and a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional.
Outside the office, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his family; Wife Kelly, 5-year-old son Xander, and 3-year-old daughter Rae. Ian and his family are enthusiastic Seattle sports fans who love the Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners, Kraken, and all things Seattle.
