As a big sports fan, I often think about championship teams, where every player knows their role, executes with precision, and works seamlessly with teammates to achieve victory. Construction is no different. When we and our customers are united by a common goal, when everyone understands their responsibilities, and when we leverage each other’s strengths, success follows. That alignment is the foundation for delivering not just an exceptional project, but an exceptional experience.
Where teammates become family
One of the things I’m most proud of is the relationships I’ve built with my teammates at Mortenson. I joined the company right after graduation, and over 15 years, I’ve grown up alongside incredible colleagues who have shaped not only my career, but who I am as a leader, a husband, a father, and a friend. Mortenson isn’t just a workplace—it’s a community that celebrates a family atmosphere and truly feels like home.

At Mortenson, we’ve always cared about building for the community – and with the community. What brings me the most fulfillment is mentoring and guiding individuals who are just beginning their journeys. Together with my wife, I seek opportunities in our community to help others understand the value of compassion and work toward the greater good.
