Bryan Kulesa has been a cornerstone of Mortenson’s Safety team since 2016, bringing extensive experience and unwavering dedication to construction safety and operations. His strong technical foundation and leadership have helped ensure safe, efficient execution across complex, multi-phase projects while fostering collaboration and accountability.
Bryan holds an Applied Science Degree in Carpentry and maintains numerous certifications, including OSHA 30, Mobile Crane 301/401, CPR/First Aid, CESEL, Rigger Bellman, MEWP, and NCCO Rigger Signal. These credentials reflect his commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and adherence to industry best practices.
His expertise spans disruption avoidance, self-perform concrete, crane mobilization, logistics planning, integrated work plans, and print reading. Bryan’s ability to combine technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills enables him to collaborate effectively across teams, mentor craft professionals, and reinforce Mortenson’s safety policies and procedures.
Throughout his tenure, Bryan has contributed to several notable projects, including Four106, Providence Swedish 1st Hill North Tower, and the SeaTac Main Terminal Low Voltage Systems Upgrade. On these multi-phase projects, he played a key role in field management, safety planning, and implementing integrated work plans—helping teams meet milestones safely and efficiently while minimizing risk and maintaining operational excellence.
What Bryan values most about his role is working directly with craft professionals, coaching and mentoring to foster a culture of safety. His dedication extends beyond the job site through volunteer initiatives such as NAIOP and Parkside Elementary’s Construction Inclusion Week, reflecting his commitment to community engagement.
Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and gardening. Looking ahead, he is excited to see the next generation bring fresh, innovative ideas and transformative solutions to the construction industry, ensuring continued progress and sustainability.
