Kyle Sherry

Project Engineer II | Real Estate Development

As a Project Engineer II, Kyle supports project leadership during the development phase by assisting with activities that positively impact project feasibility, including market research, partner coordination, scope development, budget alignment, and procurement strategies. During the construction phase, he supports the execution of development projects by coordinating with project teams, customers, and project partners while helping ensure development contracts and project objectives are effectively managed throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Kyle began his career with Mortenson in 2016 as a Carpenter in the Minneapolis Office where he spent five years gaining hands-on field experience on complex construction projects. In 2021, he transitioned to Mortenson's Federal Contracting Group in Washington, D.C., serving as a Project Engineer and supporting mission-critical federal projects. He later returned to Minneapolis, where he continued his engineering career supporting large-scale data center development projects. Throughout his career, Kyle has contributed to several notable projects, including the University of Minnesota Athletes Village, Northern Stacks, the QTS Data Center in Ashburn, Virginia, and the Meta Data Center campus in Rosemount, Minnesota.

Kyle earned an Associate of Applied Science in Construction Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Dunwoody College of Technology. He also holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys golfing, hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
