Maddy joined Mortenson in 2018 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since joining the company, she has applied her collaborative and technical expertise to various projects, primarily focusing on healthcare and hospitality initiatives that drive innovation and enhance community experiences. Some of her notable projects include the Stanford South Lake Union Hotel, Four106, Kaiser Permanente Everett, Harborview ORs, and the Sleep Clinic. Her adaptable approach to project management, which spans from preconstruction through closeout, ensures consistency, quality, and seamless delivery at every phase.

Maddy actively builds strong relationships with architects, consultants, customers, city officials, and trade partners, showcasing her passion for her work and her commitment to collaboration. She excels at navigating the intricacies of project administration, including buy-out, scheduling, billings, safety, quality, commissioning, and closeout, always with a focus on delivering exceptional results for all stakeholders.

A dedicated advocate for industry advancement, Maddy is deeply involved in professional development and mentorship. As a Construction Discipline Leader for the ACE Mentorship Program, she empowers students to pursue careers in construction through scholarships, internships, and hands-on guidance. Her leadership extends to championing diversity and inclusion, with a particular emphasis on increasing female representation and advancement into senior roles.

Maddy advocates for lean innovation, focusing on creating safer, more efficient, and sustainable solutions to meet the evolving challenges of the industry. Outside of work, she enjoys running, spending time with her dog, Pesto, and connecting with friends.
