Mortenson's 20th Annual T-Bone Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot raised $86,000 for American Military Family (AMF), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families. The contribution brings the event's lifetime fundraising total to more than $600,000, marking two decades of community impact through one of Mortenson's longest-running charitable traditions.
More than 230 participants joined this year's event, which brought together employees, trade partners, clients, and community supporters in support of AMF's mission. Contributions from registrations, sponsorships, and raffle proceeds will help AMF continue providing critical services and resources to those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.
"For nearly two decades, AMF has been committed to helping heal the physical, mental, and emotional wounds of veterans and first responders through access to critical services and resources," said Debbie Quackenbush McElhinney, Founder of AMF. "Partners like Mortenson play a vital role in helping us raise awareness for our mission and expand our impact. We are grateful for the Mortenson team's support year after year."
The success of this year's event reflects the strong commitment of Mortenson's industry partners and the broader community to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families. A total of 50 firms sponsored or participated in the tournament, with WillScot and Eco Bridge Service serving as leading contributors.
"This event would not be possible without the continued support of our trade partners, sponsors, and participants who generously contribute their time and resources each year," said Jed Sluyter, Mortenson director of field operations. "We're inspired by the enthusiasm of our community and their commitment to giving back to those who have dedicated their lives to serving others. Thank you to everyone who joined us in supporting AMF and helping make this year's event such a success."
As the T-Bone Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot enters its third decade, the event continues to demonstrate the power of partnership, philanthropy, and community. The generosity of sponsors, participants, and volunteers has helped grow the tournament into a meaningful tradition that advances AMF's mission while honoring those who serve.
