Mortenson Begins Construction on Data Center Campus in Lebanon, Indiana

Supporting Meta’s next generation of digital infrastructure in Indiana

Mortenson is proud to support the development of Meta's next state-of-the-art data center campus in Lebanon, Indiana, marking Meta's second data center in the state and a significant investment in the region's long term economic growth.

The data center campus will span approximately 4 million square feet, forming part of Meta's highly advanced infrastructure that supports global connectivity. Once complete, the campus will represent an investment of more than $10 billion in Lebanon and is expected to support approximately 4,000 construction jobs at peak, along with more than 300 permanent operational roles.

In alignment with Meta's community focused approach, the Lebanon Data Center Project emphasizes workforce opportunity, education, and long-term community benefit. Construction opportunities will be supported through local and regional trade partners, with information available at www.lebanondatacenter.com.

Meta is launching a new Boone County–wide workforce development program through the Boone County Career Collaborative. The program will support career exploration and work‑based learning opportunities for students across three school districts, connecting classrooms with local employers and providing consistent exposure to in‑demand skills and career pathways.

In the coming months, Meta will bring its Community Action Grants program to Boone County, providing direct funding to schools, nonprofits, and community organizations in data center communities to support local priorities and long‑term community well‑being.

Mortenson is proud to collaborate with Turner Construction and Faith Technologies to help deliver a worldclass data center campus while building longterm value for the Lebanon community and the state of Indiana.
