The Southwest Healthcare Services project team hosted a block party last Thursday to mark the one-year construction anniversary for the replacement Critical Access Hospital (CAH). Over 35 neighbors came out to celebrate and were able to meet the team, learn more about the project and upcoming work, and enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs!
“It was great getting to meet the neighbors and answer questions they had about the work we are doing here” said Project Manager Matt Helleen. “The CAH is a very exciting endeavor for Bowman residences and the local community has really embraced the project and the project team.”
The 50,000 square foot Critical Access Hospital will be attached to the existing long-term care facility and consolidates all of Southwest Healthcare Services into one campus. The new hospital will feature general outpatient, primary care, imaging, lab, ER, and acute and swing bed patient areas and is scheduled to complete in the first quarter of 2017.
