Brandon Gehl, a superintendent with Mortenson, was recognized by the Daily Reporter with a 2019 Hard Hat Safety Award on November 20. The award honors companies and individuals for their continued, successful work in keeping workers and the public safe.

On each of his projects, Brandon leads Mortenson’s safety efforts and fosters’ a culture of safety among all workers.

At the award luncheon, five individuals were honored for their significant contributions to safety in their workplaces. The event also included a panel discussion on new advances in safety.

Mel Langlais, Mortenson Wisconsin’s safety Director, was one of the three panelists who shared insight into the state of safety in the industry, advances in the industry, what the future holds, and changing/new rules.
