Clear Creek Crossing Development / Wheat Ridge, CO
How do you know what roadway design is best for a new development?
Mortenson has partnered with Denver developer Evergreen Development Company to provide construction management and cost estimating services for the Clear Creek Crossing development. Clear Creek Crossing, located at the southwest quadrant of Highway 58 and I-70 in Wheat Ridge, will be a 110-acre development destination providing a wide range of uses, including retail, hotel, multifamily residential, and employment.
Services include extensive agency coordination involving the local municipality, water and sanitation districts, CDOT, and Corps of Engineers. Mortenson is providing a wide variety of services including development-level Title 32 eligible infrastructure, detailed site-level coordination, and user-specific support to facilitate individual pad sales and lease transactions. Additionally, we assisted in getting Evergreen integrated into the existing Longs Peak Metro District, providing consulting services throughout the duration of the project.
To date, Mortenson has completed the majority of phase 1 of the development, which included self-perform work installing new water mains, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and a retaining wall. Additionally, other work on the project included demolition of asphalt pavement and utilities, and earthwork. Two phases remain, which include grading the remaining site, installing all-new utilities and roadway along with new hook ramps for new on-ramps and off-ramps from I-70.
