Built in the heart of a congested, collegiate campus, Everett Community College’s new Gray Wolf Hall provides 77,000 SF of new instructional, faculty office, and support spaces. After building Everett Community College’s first GC/CM project, Whitehorse Hall, Mortenson was hired to build Gray Wolf Hall. Although designed and constructed to meet LEED Gold requirements, the building is LEED Silver certified. Additional campus improvements to support the new building include relocation of the main campus drive, demolition/renovation of the 1950s-era first generation campus buildings, and construction of new surface parking. This project was the second in a series of major building projects modernizing the Everett Community College campus to meet student demand. Mortenson maintained a campus presence from July 2005 until this project completed in December 2008. This project was completed on schedule and under budget.
