This new 91,755 square-foot outpatient center and 17,000 square-foot emergency department on the Swedish Ballard Campus opened in the fall of 2010.

The five-story building contains a mix of Type I and B occupancies and houses an emergency healthcare department on the first floor, medical imaging for x-rays, sonograms and MRIs on the second floor, primary care facilities on the third floor, and specialty physicians office space on the fourth and fifth floors. The new building includes a direct link to the existing hospital via a sky bridge. Our project team built the shell and core, the tenant improvement work on the first, second, third, and fourth floors, and the sky bridge. Natural daylighting has been maximized by the use of significant windows on all four sides of the building.
