Being a builder at my core is what initially drew me to this industry. The daily challenges and team engagement at Mortenson is what keeps me here. There's a unique feeling of accomplishment when a project reaches completion — looking back at the hard work it took to get there and the tangible result of collective effort. The first project I was part of taught me the profound reward of turning vision into reality, and it's a feeling that continues to inspire me every day.

MORTENSON MOMENT
Opening day for the CSU Football Stadium stands out as one of our most challenging projects. The team worked tirelessly through setbacks, never stopping. When the anthem played and the flyover ceremony concluded just before kickoff, a powerful sense of pride emerged. Watching our team members and their families celebrate in the stands — discussing the journey and glowing about what we'd accomplished — captured everything about our determination, willingness, and ability to persevere through adversity and come out victorious.
