With a degree in Architectural Studies, Josh joined Mortenson in 2013 as an Integrated Construction Coordinator and transitioned from that role to field management – working his way from project engineer to his current role as a project manager. On projects, Josh is our day-to-day contact for customer PM’s and others during construction as he manages our trade partners, monitors our progress, runs project meetings, coordinates project site communications, and manages our project controls systems.

Josh comes to each project with a vast knowledge of our team’s financial reporting controls; a deep understanding of how BIM can facilitate cost control, document control, and quality control management; and an appreciation of good design that he gained through his design degree from Washington State University. He enjoys being able to evaluate and influence design, then ultimately plan and manage the construction process to bring a design to life.

Outside of work, Josh loves sharing his passion for sports with his kids and coaching teams for the Steel Lake Little League.
