Systems Analyst I - BLUvera Manufacturing

SUMMARY  

BLUvera, Mortenson’s vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication business, is seeking a Systems Analyst to help support and evolve the technology that enables a rapidly growing operation. This role will partner with business users, IT teams, and technology partners to troubleshoot application issues, understand business needs, and develop solutions that improve how BLUvera operates.

The Systems Analyst will help translate business requirements into practical system enhancements, configurations, and new capabilities, while serving as a technical resource for application functionality and supporting testing and implementation. As BLUvera continues to expand its facilities, workforce, and manufacturing capabilities, this role will have the opportunity to help shape the systems and processes that support the business as it scales.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Oracle Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues 
• Investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options: including modifications to the set up and configuration of existing modules, enhancements to modules, and/or implementation of new Oracle modules 
• Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues within areas of expertise 
• Work with end-users, other ITS technical resources, Microsoft support, and/or vendor support to troubleshoot problems and applications issues 
• Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements and work with the appropriate teams to interpret requirements 
• Perform requirements analysis, functional and technical design specifications, utilizing current systems methodologies and tools 
• Unit test and perform peer reviews of code changes and documentation 
• Assist with developing and maintaining test plans and test scripts 
• Work with other teams, as required, to make recommendations on efficient use of Oracle Application features and capability to enhance the customer experience 
• Follow departmental standards and best practices as defined (i.e. development standards, application standards, naming conventions, etc.) 
• Provide management with timely reporting as required 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT 
• Project Management certification preferred 
• Experience with Oracle EBS 
• Basic understanding of ITIL methodologies 
• Experience in analytical, project management, and client-facing work 
• Working experience with Microsoft IIS setups, configurations, and administration, writing SQL queries and SQL Reporting Services, server setups, configurations, and administration of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft IIS, ServiceNow, Primavera P6 Project Portfolio Management (PPM) & Scheduling application, Project Management Administration (PMA) application, and Microsoft Outlook Administration 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude 
• Ability to manage schedules and prioritize work accordingly 
• Desire to broaden technical, functional, and analytical skills 
• Strong teamwork orientation 
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills 
• Knowledge of Microsoft development toolkits 
• Strong detail orientation

The base pay range for this role is $77,000 - $115,600. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.  This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
