SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Data & AI Product Owner - ITS that will be responsible for coordinating and leading all activities related to application support in a technical environment; responsible for the management and improvements to the processes and systems web-based applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to a scheduled release cycle
Maintain big picture comprehensive view of entire portfolio and make decisions with company interest in mind
Consult and mentor technical resources concerning methods, procedures, and standards to be used during design, development, and unit testing phases of system changes or enhancement projects
Communicate issues and status information to the Application Services Manager concerning system activities and schedule releases
Facilitate communication of training needs for team members to the Application Services manager
Work with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues
Identify enhancement solutions and develop plans to implement
Investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options
Function as resident team expert for the technical environment
Partner with functional owners to ensure the health and stability of the technical environment
Maintain a technical roadmap
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum seven years’ experience in IT
Previous experience leading a team, including delivering performance feedback
Project Management certification preferred
Experience with Oracle EBS, 12.1.3., 12.2.5 preferred
Experience with project management methodology including Scrim/Agile and Waterfall preferred
Experience capturing client requirements and developing business cases preferred
Experience and basic understanding of ITIL methodologies preferred
Experience in analytical, project management, and client facing work preferred

The base pay range for this role is $124,000 - $186,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
