SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to build the organization’s people strategy in alignment with business goals and serve as a trusted partner to leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as lead for a team of HR Business Partners supporting our geographic offices across the US and other business entities, providing oversight of priorities, resource deployment and workflow across the team.
Provide strategic partnership and coaching to our leaders in these business units, ensuring HR priorities and practices are connected to business outcomes.
Build plans to develop strong organizational culture and respectful workplace, as well as continuously improving the employee experience.
Serve as the primary partner to Mortenson’s HR Director – Data, Process and Technology to develop efficient, effective, and compliant HR processes and ensure maximum leverage of data and technology within the talent partner and business teams.
Lead enterprise projects in areas such as Organization Design/ Development and Process Improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
Draw upon a minimum of 7-9 years of HR experience, including business partnering and other HR disciplines such as Leadership development, compensation, and recruiting.
Problem-solve and partner with the business using consultative skills
Leverage your expertise and experience in organization design and process improvement to drive impact to HR practices and the business.
Influence and champion organizational changes by creating a compelling vision, engaging stakeholders, and devising effective communication strategies.
Leverage a growth mindset and data to drive organizational insights and action plans.

The base pay range for this role is $137,000 - $205,600. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
