Fort Carson Operations Facility

Can you precast concrete for the construction of an operations facility?

The six buildings of the Fort Carson Company Operation Facility provided working space for 3,800 soldiers. The 400,000 square foot complex included readiness areas constructed with precast concrete and administrative areas built with structural steel, metal studs, and brick.

Mortenson ensured that all exterior walls and window systems met current Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection requirements without compromising its commitment to sustainable construction. As a result, the project achieved LEED Silver Certification.
