The Redtail Ridge civil infrastructure project represents a significant component of a larger, multi-phased development initiative spearheaded by Sterling Bay Companies on a 390-acre site. Our team has played a central role in shaping and guiding the long-term vision for this ambitious development. From the outset, we worked closely with the client to ensure that the design and implementation strategies aligned with their goals for a sustainable, future-ready community. A key focus throughout the process has been minimizing disruption to the surrounding neighborhood, which includes a diverse range of sensitive facilities such as elementary, middle, and high schools, a medical office building, a senior care center, and the existing AdventHealth Hospital.
The civil work associated with this project is foundational to the transformation of the area. Once complete, it will pave the way for an estimated 2.6 million square feet of vertical development. This space will accommodate a wide mix of uses, including life sciences, industrial facilities, manufacturing operations, and modern office environments. In the future, a new hospital will be constructed as part of the broader site development plan, further expanding the area’s healthcare infrastructure and supporting regional growth.
Boulder, Colorado, has rapidly evolved into a prominent center for the bioscience industry. This project is strategically designed to capitalize on that momentum by fostering a highly functional environment for research and development, advanced manufacturing, and industrial innovation. The development’s location near several major academic institutions, most notably the University of Colorado Boulder, offers access to a rich talent pipeline and opportunities for research collaboration. This proximity to higher education further strengthens the site's potential to become a dynamic innovation corridor, supporting both economic development and technological advancement in the region. Ultimately, this infrastructure investment is not just about laying roads and utilities; it's about building a foundation for long-term community and industry growth.
