How can you enhance students' success with a library expansion on campus?
Mortenson constructed a 126,000 sf expansion and renovation to the A.A. Lemieux Library, originally built in 1966. The new space provides study areas, student training, interactive "smart" classrooms, a special collections archive and reading room, and much more for the more than 8,000 students and staff at Seattle University. The facility has been certified LEED Gold and incorporate sustainable features such as enhanced building thermal envelope, water-conserving plumbing fixtures, energy-saving mechanical equipment, and lighting fixtures that are controlled by daylight and occupancy sensors.
