As Vice President of Real Estate Development, Dan is responsible for sourcing and financing development opportunities in the Upper Midwest. Dan positions Mortenson as a firm that can provide site identification, tenant procurement, financial feasibility, debt and equity financing, government entitlements, and design and construction oversight for our customers across all product types. With 18 years of industry experience, Dan specializes in the development of multi-family, mixed-use and healthcare projects.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in civil engineering, and his MBA in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He lives in Minnetrista, MN with his wife Erin and their children Marcus, Emmett, Isla and Elliette. Coaching his children's various sports teams has become a passion for Dan in addition to summer lake activities.
