As Capital Markets Analyst, Lindsey provides support for the asset management, capital markets and development teams in each of Mortenson’s regional offices – Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Washington, D.C. She works with a multitude of asset types including data centers, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, life sciences, multi-family and office. Her key responsibilities include business development research, prosecting land for each of our product types, actively investigating market trends and curating strategic development reports. She also aids our Asset Management Director with our national portfolio from the inception of the project, through construction and stabilization of the asset. She will also assist with the sale of assets as we continue to roll over our portfolio. Lindsey is new to development and construction and is enjoying learning this side of the business. She looks forward to being part of the process and building assets that will improve the lives of our community members.
Lindsey started her commercial real estate career in 2018 at JLL as an Insurance Analyst in debt service and spent the last three years there as a Capital Markets Analysts on the multi-family investment sales team in Minneapolis. She specialized in financial analysis, creating broker opinion of value presentations and offering memorandums, and building research reports for multi-family assets in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas and Utah. Prior to real estate, Lindsey was a recruiter for a national insurance firm.
Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She is an active member of NAIOP’s Developing Leaders program and is currently on the Mentorship Committee. In her spare time, Lindsey can be found with her nose in a book, baking chocolate chip cookies, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
