Trent brings over 19 years of experience in the construction industry to his position as Market Executive for Mortenson’s Portland office, serving customers in the Oregon and SW Washington marketplace. Trent has expertise and experience spanning multiple markets, including healthcare, life sciences, high tech, telecom, industrial and corporate market sectors. He is integral in cultivating strategic business partnerships and providing an exceptional experience for Mortenson’s customers from project concept through completion.
As Market Executive, Trent currently leads Mortenson’s healthcare business in Oregon and is responsible for project acquisition, building high performing teams and overall project performance. Trent is focused on building strategic relationships and creating lasting partnerships. In his previous career Trent worked as an Owners Representative for a national healthcare system brining an added understanding of healthcare construction from a customer perspective to his current business partnerships, vital to achieving their goals. He understands the unique demands of this market space and brings an extensive knowledge of working in both active and acute care environments.
Trent is a lifelong resident of the Portland area and has a long history of community and industry involvement. He has been committed to several local organizations including:

Trent received his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils) in 2002 with minors in both Urban Planning and Business Administration. A proud dad to Conner, Caden and Camryn and husband to Lisa (his high school sweetheart) Trent can be found most weekends spending time with them playing soccer, watching the timbers (RCTID) or relaxing with the family in Scottsdale, AZ. Trent try’s to live his life both professionally and personally by the motto “Always know your WHY” because when you know your WHY, your WHAT becomes more clear and impactful.
