New Construction
A Unified Campus for Rural Healthcare
The new center replaces an outdated critical access hospital and unifies previously separate senior living services into a single, modern campus designed for efficiency and continuity of care. This transition enabled comprehensive upgrades cross all patient care areas, including enhanced laboratory capabilities and the addition of ambulatory surgery services. A strong emphasis was placed on creating a safer, more resilient healthcare environment through advanced infection control strategies and state-of-the-art ventilation systems, ensuring improved outcomes for both patients and staff.
Overcoming Winter Conditions
Construction began in the Fall of 2022 with demolition of an adjacent high school track and field that was no longer in use. Despite challenging winter conditions, the project team successfully completed excavation and foundation work by utilizing specialized equipment and cold-weather construction techniques to overcome frozen ground conditions. These efforts ensured the project remained on schedule, meeting the timeline requirements set by the USDA and other funding partners.
The team has always been willing to help; with any concerns that are found. They go above and beyond to help resolve issues. The whole team has been very easy to work with and are all very thoughtful and caring. They are truly as invested in the project as much as we are. We are thankful every day that we chose this company for our project.
