The Beam on Farmer®

Tempe, AZ

The Beam on Farmer® is Arizona's first cross-laminated timber (CLT) office, developed and built by Mortenson. This 184,000-square-foot space sets a new workplace standard, providing a healthy, functional and sustainable work environment.

Using CLT reduced the building's carbon footprint by more than 10% in contrast to concrete structures. Additionally, CLT is a renewable resource; it only takes an estimated 15 minutes for U.S. and Canadian forests to grow the amount of wood used on the facility.
