Sarah Narjes is General Manager of Mortenson’s Salt Lake City business, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is responsible for regional strategy, operations, and overall market performance, leading a multidisciplinary team spanning business development, operations, estimating, design-phase leadership, and community engagement.
With 19 years at Mortenson, Sarah brings deep experience across multiple markets and delivery models. She began her career in Mortenson’s Denver business, contributing to landmark projects including the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital. In 2014, she joined the Sports + Entertainment Group, serving in key leadership roles on high-profile venues such as Truist Park in Atlanta, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and Energizer Park in St. Louis.
In 2022, Sarah relocated to Utah to establish and lead Mortenson’s Utah business. Outside of work, she and her husband Kyle enjoy the outdoors with their two children, spending time camping, skiing, and making the most out of living in Utah.

Mortenson continues to expand its presence in Utah with its ongoing work on Meta’s Eagle Mountain Data Centers, work at Hill AFB, work with the University of Utah, and active investments through Mortenson Development and Mortenson Properties. We remain committed to working closely with Utah communities to help envision the next generation of the built environment here through projects across asset classes – from higher education to sports facilities, healthcare, life sciences, aerospace, defense manufacturing and beyond.
